We are pleased to share an update on AyDCIM, our Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) application currently being developed in partnership with AKYA Türkiye and Türk Telekom, with co-funding from Türk Telekom and TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye).
Our role: AyMON SCADA at the core
AKYA Canada is responsible for the core platform work—advancing the AyMON SCADA engine that powers our industrial applications. The same engine that has previously enabled AyMES and AyBMS now serves as the foundation for AyDCIM, ensuring high performance, robust data acquisition, and reliable control across complex data-center environments.
Development structure
- DCIM modules, Frontend & backend development and testing: Led by AKYA Türkiye teams.
- Project management: Conducted by Türk Telekom.
- System integrations: Coordination of counterpart systems and third-party integrations is managed by Türk Telekom to ensure alignment across the broader operational landscape.
Test cycles completed
In collaboration with all partners, we have successfully completed a comprehensive series of test phases:
- Integration testing
- Demo reviews
- Functional testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression testing
- Security & penetration testing
These results validate the stability of the AyMON-based core and the readiness of the application to proceed toward production.
What’s next
The next milestone is to launch AyDCIM in a live environment at one of Türk Telekom’s data centers. Following successful operation, the solution will be rolled out to additional data centers. In subsequent phases, as the product matures, we plan to commercialize AyDCIM and make it available to other organizations seeking a scalable, SCADA-backed DCIM platform.
