Who We Are

About AkyA Canada

Akya Canada is an industrial automation and digital transformation company based in British Columbia. We help manufacturers and critical infrastructure operators turn real-time data into practical decisions on the shop floor, in the plant and in the data center.

Our work combines software, hardware and integration. We design and deliver solutions such as SCADA, MES and in line inspection stations, and we support the processes and people around them so that technology actually changes day to day operations.

AkyA – What’s Behind the Name?

The name AkyA comes from the Turkish words “AKıllı YApılar”, meaning “Smart Structures.”

We chose it because it reflects our mission: to design intelligent, efficient systems for modern infrastructure — from buildings to data centers.

Coincidentally, Akya is also the name of a fast, agile fish (amberjack) found in the Mediterranean, which symbolizes speed and precision — qualities we bring to our technology.
